Antisemitism is hostility to, prejudice, or discrimination against Jews. Hindudvesha is a visceral hatred, aversion or disdain for the Hindus. The attitude of hostility towards the Jewish people eventually led to the holocaust, during WW-II. Hindus have been dealing with Hindudvesha for more than a millennia now, with relentless ethnocide interspersed with numerous instances of genocide. In this Webinar, we shall explore the parallels between these two phenomena, as they emerged, and evolved over time. We will look for what risks that they pose to the Jewish people and the Hindus respectively, and what lessons must we learn to deal with an environment that is suffused with such hostility. |
