It’s aims to bring Hindu ethos and dharmic values of unity in diversity, plurality, compassion and, mutual respect amongst religions to policy and advocacy for human rights, environmental protection, gender equality, education, and interfaith dialog.

HinduPACT – Hindu Policy Research and Advocacy Collective USA (HinduPACT USA). HinduPACT USA, formerly, an initiative of World Hindu Council of America (VHPA), is now an independent American Hindu advocacy organization.  

  • HinduPACT is a policy research initiative. There has been no significant involvement of American Hindus in the national discourse. We partner with practicing Hindu scholars, Hindu gurus, community organizers, and others to study issues facing American society and offer views based on dharmic principles.
  • HinduPACT is an advocacy initiative. Over the next year, HinduPACT USA will formulate Hindu perspectives on key American issues like school prayer, race relations, gun control, environmental awareness, abortion, gender equality, immigration, and more—without taking a partisan political stand.
  • HinduPACT is a political education initiative. We focus on voter registration and education, engaging candidates to assess their alignment with dharmic and American values. HinduPACT USA remains non-partisan and does not endorse any political candidate.
  • HinduPACT is a mass outreach initiative. Our first project, HinduLounge, VHPA’s weekly live call-in program, brings Hindu perspectives to national discussions. More outreach programs are in development.
  • HinduPACT is a grassroots initiative. We identify and address Hindu concerns at all levels, train Hindus for advocacy, and create internship opportunities for Hindu youth.
  • HinduPACT values collaborations. We bring Hindu ethos and dharmic values—unity in diversity, plurality, compassion, and mutual respect—to policy and advocacy for human rights, environmental protection, gender equality, education, and interfaith dialogue. HinduPACT USA partners with community organizations, government officials, civil rights groups, and mandirs to achieve this vision.
